A globally recognized technology company and one of the world’s leading providers of cloud computing and digital infrastructure engaged Modern Hiring Service to support height-access activities at its hyperscale data center facilities in Pune and Hyderabad.
The organization operates some of the most advanced data centers globally, delivering secure cloud services, enterprise platforms, and digital infrastructure that power businesses, governments, and organizations across the world. These facilities are built with stringent engineering standards to ensure high reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
During construction, installation, and maintenance activities within the data center campuses, the project teams required reliable and safe height-access equipment.
Data center environments involve extensive infrastructure installations such as cable tray networks, electrical bus ducts, HVAC ducting systems, fire suppression piping, lighting systems, and structured cabling. Much of this work is carried out at elevated heights inside large server halls and utility corridors.
Given the sensitive nature of data center environments, equipment used inside these facilities must operate with minimal noise and zero emissions while providing stable and safe access for technicians.
The project required multiple electric scissor lifts capable of supporting technicians during installation and maintenance works across different sections of the facilities.
Modern Hiring Service supplied four units of 12-meter electric scissor lifts on a rental basis to support operations at the two hyperscale data center locations.
The electric scissor lifts were selected specifically for indoor applications where emission-free operation and low noise levels are essential. The machines provided stable vertical lifting capability and a spacious platform that allowed technicians to carry tools and materials while performing elevated tasks.
The equipment ensured safe and efficient access across various sections of the facility during both installation and maintenance phases.
Electric scissor lifts are widely used in data center construction and maintenance due to their stability and ease of operation. They support a variety of activities including installation of electrical cable trays and bus ducts, HVAC duct installation, fire protection piping, structured cabling networks, lighting installations, ceiling works, and routine inspection of overhead infrastructure.
Their ability to provide a stable working platform makes them ideal for tasks requiring precision and safety within critical infrastructure environments.
The deployment of electric scissor lifts significantly improved productivity and safety during elevated installation activities within the data center facilities. Technicians were able to access work areas quickly and perform tasks efficiently without the delays associated with traditional scaffolding systems.
The equipment also supported safe working conditions by providing stable platforms and controlled elevation in sensitive indoor environments.

Modern Hiring Service provides a wide range of aerial work platforms, including electric scissor lifts, articulating boom lifts, telescopic boom lifts, and spider lifts for critical sectors such as data centers, manufacturing, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, and heavy engineering.
With a strong fleet of modern equipment and the ability to rapidly deploy solutions across India, Modern Hiring Service continues to support leading global technology companies with reliable and safe height-access solutions.
This project highlights Modern Hiring Service’s capability to support hyperscale digital infrastructure projects with advanced aerial access equipment. By supplying multiple electric scissor lifts for data center facilities, Modern Hiring Service enabled safe, efficient, and reliable execution of elevated installation activities within one of the world’s most demanding technology environments.
